You have the convenience of settling your bill within a few seconds at any time you choose. Simply register as an online user with your bank and get your user ID and password. Then all you have to do is to add American Express to your list of payees. It only takes a few moments and the bank’s online facility will help you with the process. When you receive your American Express statement, you only need to go online for a few moments each month, enter the amount you wish to pay and your account will be directly credited with that amount within 48 hours. Don’t forget to refer to the beneficiary details at the bottom of this page for all the information that you will need to set up the online facility.

Telephone Payment
This is a quick and simple way to pay your American Express bill and you’ll find that virtually all banks in Saudi Arabia accept payment instructions over the phone. Depending on your bank’s own requirements, you will need to contact them, either in person, online or on the phone, and nominate American Express as an authorised beneficiary. Normally, the bank will ask you to supply all the beneficiary details which you will see in the chart at the end of this page. The bank will then give you a beneficiary code number which you use to pay your American Express account. Once you have set up the arrangement, all you have to do is call the bank, quote the code number and follow the spoken instructions to make the payment. Your account will be credited with the amount within 48 hours.
SARIE Bank Transfer
Here’s yet another facility that gives you the convenience of paying your bill directly from your bank account. Just pick up a SARIE form at your bank, fill it in, hand it to a cashier and the bank will make the payment for you, assuming you have sufficient funds.
Cash Payment
You may settle your American Express account by cash payment at the nearest branch of the Saudi Investment Bank.
Cheque Payment
You can pay with a Saudi Riyals Cheque, a US Dollar Cheque drawn at a local bank, American Express Travellers Cheques, or a US Dollar bank draft drawn from a US bank. Please make the cheque payable to American Express, write your Card account number clearly on the face of the cheque and send it with your Remittance Advice to: Amex (Saudi Arabia) Ltd, PO Box 6624, Riyadh 11452 Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Your account will be credited with the amount once the cheque is cleared.
Direct Debit
Direct debit is the most efficient way to pay because you only have to make the arrangements once. Just ask us for a direct debit form and Amex (Saudi Arabia) Limited will process your request and bring you the form to sign. From thereon, your bank will settle your accounts due hassle-free. We will, of course, give you enough time to preview your statement of accounts before doing so.
