The American Express Card is a charge card, not a credit card.
Unlike a credit card, the American Express Card has no pre-set spending
limit. You can charge as much as you have shown us you can afford. This
makes the Card ideal for shopping, dining, travel and entertainment. Furthermore,
you can choose to be billed in the currency that suits you best, either
in US Dollars or Saudi Riyals. |

| Who is Membership for? |
|
|
|
American Express Cardmembers are people who generally work in companies in middle or senior management, or are professionals and have a bank account.
They are, in general, successful professionals and typically expect more from the people they deal with - and our service reflects this. American Express Cardmembership offers a range of services and benefits which open up a world full of privileges.

| How to apply for Membership? |

- To download an application form, please click
here. Please complete the application and return it to us with the
documentation listed below.
- Alternatively, you can go to our nearest office or any branch of The
Saudi Investment Bank or from outlets that accept American Express and
pick up an application form. Please return the application to us completed
and signed with the following documentation:
- A photocopy of your passport and ID or Iqama.
- A certificate of employment confirming your date of employment,
position held and annual income, or a copy of your commercial registration
if you are self-employed.
- A photocopy of your last 3 months personal bank statements.

| Membership
and Annual Fees |
|
|
|
The annual membership fee for the American Express Card is US$
120 or SAR 450. There is no need to submit payment for the fees
with your application as it will be included on your first statement. Supplementary
Cards are only US $60 or SAR 225 per year.
If you are enrolled in The Membership
Rewards Programme , you can redeem your points for your annual membership
fee.
